Jesus gave us communion to remember His sacrifice for us. He said that He was the Living Bread, sent down from Heaven, which offended many. But there is healing to be found in communion. Jesus' blood was shed for us, as the lamb's blood was placed upon the doors of the Israelites so the angel of death would pass over them.
