Corinth is the model for the Spirit-filled church. The two spiritual realities - the heavenly and the earthly reality were constantly clashing in Corinth. This series, the Spirit-filled church, seeks to answer the question, “What is the Spirit-filled church filled with?” Holiness is a concept that needs to be reclaimed by the church today. As we grow in Christ, the things of our old life become less important, and spiritual reality becomes our new identity. Holiness is living in the tension between what is good, humanly speaking, and what is completely unattainable from a human point of view. What is important to know about holiness is that God is holy and only God can make us holy. Holiness must be the work of the Spirit in us and through us.
