Corinth is the model for the Spirit-filled church. The two spiritual realities - the heavenly and the earthly reality were constantly clashing in Corinth. This series, the Spirit-filled church, seeks to answer the question, “What is the Spirit-filled church filled with?”
The resurrection is the heart of the gospel - it is the prototype of the transformation that God is bringing to humanity. A new Kingdom has been inaugurated, one which will eventually replace the kingdoms of this world. It is the time when natural reality is fading and spiritual reality is emerging. The resurrection invites us to live our lives in view of the coming future - to live in hope.
