Corinth is the model for the Spirit-filled church. The two spiritual realities - the heavenly and the earthly reality were constantly clashing in Corinth. This series, the Spirit-filled church, seeks to answer the question, “What is the Spirit-filled church filled with?”
This week we are going to focus on purpose. God's plan is to eventually unite heaven and earth. The church represents the intersection of heavenly reality and earthly reality. We must understand that the church, and individual members of it, are critically important to God’s plan. That is why the enemy attacks the church and members of the church. That is why we need to stand together with a common purpose.
