Corinth is the model for the Spirit-filled church. The two spiritual realities - the heavenly and the earthly reality were constantly clashing in Corinth. This series, the Spirit-filled church, seeks to answer the question, “What is the Spirit-filled church filled with?”
Today we celebrate the "good news" that Jesus gives us life through His own death and resurrection. We celebrate the resurrection because it means that our mortal human life is not all there is. Life in the Spirit means that just as Jesus lives victorious over death, we too can transcend our natural reality and live in the power of His Presence.
